December Christmas Craft Theme Activities

With Christmas approaching in December, the business department held a Christmas craft activity

The speaker for this event was Bella, who first told us about the origin and development of Christmas. Christmas was originally a Christian commemorative event, but it gradually evolved into a global holiday.

She also introduced the unique ways different countries and regions celebrate Christmas. Christmas not only has religious significance, but also serves as a warm time for family reunions and friends to gather. People exchange gifts, have dinner together, decorate Christmas trees, and other activities to convey love and blessings and share the joyful atmosphere of the holiday.

The event provided a wide variety of craft materials, including colorful pipe cleaners, sparkling beads, and brightly colored cardstock. Everyone got to work, using the pipe cleaners to create Christmas decorations such as Santa Claus and Christmas trees. Each person unleashed their creativity, transforming ordinary pipe cleaners into unique and distinctive Christmas trees. Some trees were small and delicate, others tall and imposing, and still others were decorated with colorful bells and sparkling beads, creating a special festive atmosphere.

During the process, everyone exchanged ideas and helped each other, sharing their skills and thoughts. Everyone was immersed in the joy of crafting, which not only improved their practical skills but also strengthened the bonds between colleagues. Looking at their handmade creations, everyone felt a great sense of accomplishment and took photos to commemorate the experience.

This themed activity deepened everyone's understanding of this Western holiday, and the hands-on experience of making Christmas decorations allowed them to truly appreciate its unique charm. Compared to purely theoretical learning, this experiential approach was much more engaging and enriching, greatly enhancing our cultural lives and enabling us to deeply understand and respect the cultural traditions of different countries and regions.
